Perhatian kepada semua pelajar Normal Track

Memandangkan saya menerima terlalu banyak sms dan panggilan telefon (melebihi 100 setiap hari), hanya sms yang penting sahaja akan dijawab. Untuk memudahkan pelajar, saya telah menyenaraikan subjek-subjek yang perlu didaftarkan oleh pelajar mengikut part. Untuk makluman lain, adalah seperti berikut:

1. Bagi pelajar yang ingin membuat semak semula keputusan peperiksaan, sila ke kaunter tingkat sebelas untuk membuat permohonan. Perlu diberi perhatian, keputusan terkini akan diambil kira. Jika keputusan asal C+, selepas semak semula pelajar mendapat Gred C, maka gred C akan diberikan.

2. Semua pelajar yang mempunyai masalah dalam result practical training, sila berurusan dengan koordinator latihan praktik, Tuan haji rashid.

3. Pelajar yang mengulang subjek tertentu seperti FAR 400 atau FAR 450, anda perlu mendaftar subjek subjek lain dalam kumpulan sama manakala subjek repeat, sila daftar mengikut kesesuaian jadual waktu anda.

3. Permohonan pertukaran kelas kerana ingin mengikut kawan-kawan TIDAK AKAN DILAYAN. Pelajar harus bersikap matang dalam membuat pendaftaran kursus. Jangan terlalu mengikut perasaan untuk memilih kelas. Anda harus maklum bahawa KP terpaksa melayan lebih kurang 1600 orang pelajar Normal Track. Justeru itu, tidak semua permintaan boleh dipenuhi.

4. Diharapkan agar pelajar TIDAK menelefon Ketua Program selepas pukul 8 malam. Ini kerana terdapat pelajar yang menelefon ketua program dan menghantar sms pada pukul 2 pagi (dikhuatiri jawapan yang diberikan oleh KP ketika lewat malam/pagi tidak tepat)

Kepada semua pelajar semester akhir (part 8) AC220 yang gagal satu atau dua paper dalam final exam yang lepas, anda boleh memohon untuk menduduki supplementary exam pada 23 dan 24 December. Jadual boleh didapati di Fakulti Perakaunan Tingkat 11. Pastikan anda mendaftar secara online di student portal dan bayar yuran. Sistem telah dibuka mulai 19 December 2008. Sijil cuti sakit semasa exam

Kepada mana-mana pelajar yang sakit semasa final exam, anda dinasihatkan untuk mendapatkan sijil cuti sakit dari hospital kerajaan, klinik kesihatan UiTM atau sijil cuti sakit dari klinik lain dengan mendapat pengesahan klinik UiTM. Tanpa sijil cuti sakit, ketidakhadiran semasa peperiksaan akan menyebabkan anda diberikan gred F untuk subjek yang berkenaan. AMARAN!!! Jangan sekali-kali membuat penipuan terhadap sijil cuti sakit. Anda akan dikenakan tindakan tatatertib.

Ekspedisi mendaki Gunung Nuang telah diadakan pada 17-18 Ogos 2008 manakala pendakian Gunung Datuk pula telah diadakan pada 12 Mei 2008. Pendakian ini adalah sebagai latihan persediaan untuk mendaki Gunung Kinabalu pada hujung semester nanti. Tahniah kepada para AJK dan peserta. Accountancy BOLEH!!!!!

Accountancy Leadership Camp telah diadakan di Eco-Dusun Resort, Bentong Pahang pada bulan Julai 2008. Bengkel 3 hari 2 malam ini disertai oleh ahli-ahli ABACCS, SMF, AFTAS dan APACS. Deloitte Tax Challange 2008

i. Deloitte Challenge - Team Category
- has two stages ie. preliminary round (16/09/08) and finals (14/10/08)
- is a case study competition.
- involves identifying issues and opportunities in a simulated business situation, providing solutions to the issues and presenting live to a panel of judges.

Competition Format
Preliminary 16 September 2008
Preliminary competitions will be held simultaneously throughout Malaysia. It will be conducted by the universities/colleges.
Each team will be provided with a simulated business case.
Each team will gather in an assigned room for a three-hour break-out session, during which each team will discuss the case and create an executive summary of their solutions. Assistance from individuals other than the four team members participating in the competition will be prohibited.
Each team will submit their executive summary at the end of the session.
Leadership skills will be imbedded within the case studies
Official language: English

Finals 14 October 2008
The Finals will be held in Kuala Lumpur.
Five teams with the highest score (from the semi-finals) will participate in the Finals.
During the finals, teams will be given a more challenging business case.
The morning session will follow the same format of the preliminary round. Apart from preparing an executive summary of their solutions, participating teams will be required to prepare presentation materials.
In the afternoon session, each team will be required to present their solutions to a panel of judges within a specified time limit.
The panel will determine the first, the second and the third place teams.
The champion team will make their presentation during the Gala dinner.
Official language: English

Eligibility of Entry
Each team will be made up of five full-time Malaysian students who are enrolled in an undergraduate related degree programme of the university. Only four members will take part in the actual competition and the remaining member is a back-up.


ii. Deloitte Challenge – Individual Category
- three stages in the competition ie.
a. 1st stage (online) – 15/09/08;
b. 2nd stage (written test) – 23/09/08 and
c. the finals – 14/10/08.

Competition Format

Stage 1 15 September 2008
This is done online. Students will register and be given a password to access to the questions.
Participants are given 60 minutes to answer 60 questions
Participants with the highest scores will proceed to Stage 2.
Official language: English

Stage 2 23 September 2008
This is a classic written test and will be held at selected universities.
Participants with the highest score will compete in the Finals.
Results will be placed in our website.
Official language: English

Finals 14 October 2008
In this stage finalists will be given a question to speak on (question will be given a week earlier).
The finalists will make their presentation to a panel of judges.
The panel will determine the first, the second and the third prize winners.
The winner will make his/her presentation during the Gala dinner
Official language: English

Alpa membawa PADAH!!!


To all NT students,

Please be reminded that your course registration will end this Friday. Do check and confirm your online registration. I found that many students joined classes which were not registered in the system with an assumption that the final class list would be from the manually written attendance list. However, Final list would be the one from the system, not from the manually written attendance list in your class.
